| The 21 st century is characterized by digitalization, networking and information, it is at the core of the net information age. A series of New Media Cultures and literature are derived and thus become an indispensable part in our nowadays academic researches under the digital living space. We-media is born under the Web2.0 technological innovation and it contains various and personal internet application form. It has achieved great success since We-media has been put forward for more than 10 years. Its coming has broken the monopoly position of traditional media, bringing a new information transmission mode and putting the self-made culture life in centre position.Its magnificent development can’t separate from postmodern cultural context. Postmodernism as cultural thoughts has a strong sense of reality of cultural theory. We-media culture contains most characteristics of post-modernism, which developed under post-modernistic environment. We-media culture conforms to a series of tendencies, such as anti-centre; anti-reason; clearance of lofty; joking life and so on.The whole text contains three parts. In the first part, it mainly focuses on interpreting the relevant information of We-media. Firstly it makes a simple analysis about the putting forward of We-media and the prime application form of We-media in China, such as microblog〠wechat. It makes a generalized cognition and further discusses the occurrence reason of We-media. It is an inevitable phenomenon that we-media develops smoothly under such a market economy condition. Then, it helps us better understand the We-media as a network talent from analysis of the differences between the we-media and the traditional media.The second part mainly discusses the cultural phenomenon formed by We-media and its narrative and aesthetic features that are in conformity with the postmodernism, under the influence of the postmodernism ideological trend. Postmodernism is a kind of cultural theory trend of thought which has caused extensive discussion in 1960 s. In this paper, first of all, a brief summary is made to some points proposed by some influential western thinkers about postmodernism and then it discusses features of postmodernism widely accepted in the academic circles, which contribute to know postmodernism well. Although, it exists controversy in itself. Based on the above,this paper analyzes the features of “We-Media†and “Post-modern†related to postmodern in narrative and aesthetic.The third part is mainly based on the analysis teased above, which reflects on the postmodernism and we-media culture and looks forward to the prospect of their development. It is unavoidable for people to avoid the spiritual problem in belief. So when the postmodernism doubts and deconstructs the tradition, it is easy to go deep into the nihility in this way and we-media culture also goes into the nihility easily in huge consumption of signs. Besides, people can show up on net with a virtual identity because of the net is virtual. And few people care about your real identity. At this time, it is more complex with the identity of people and more anxious with their livings. And newly emergent things at beginning are always inconsistent with their experience before. So to praise and diminish a thing simply can not determine the development of them when new things come out. As for new things, we should obey the development of era culture to look forward it on the basis of acceptance. Therefore, facilitating these new things to better direction. The prospect of this chapter is mainly based on the context of China. While the postmodernism is only partially suitable for China, whether it’s suitable for us or not, we should be dialectically. As for the we-media culture, we hope to guide the we-media to much flatter road to conform to times; to bring its superiority into its full play through cultivating the media literacy and devoting to humanistic care. |
