The stage of Junior middle school is the key to the students’ learning career.The condition of students engaged in learning activities is called learning state,which has a direct impact on learning efficiency and the development of learning ability.As a very important kind of information transfer between teachers and students,the teacher’s evaluative language can focus the students’ attention on learning, arouse the learning enthusiasm, keep a good learning state.Emotional state is the component of Learning state.When students’ emotional state is changed, learning state will be also changed.This first study launches junior high school students’ emotional states by the teacher’s evaluative language, at the same time demonstrate the effectiveness of experimental materials.Then discusses the influence of different teachers’ evaluative language on the junior high school students’ learning state.This study includes two experiments:The first experiment researches if the teachers’ evaluative language can priming emotion of junior middle school students. The experiment uses a 2(The consistency of teachers’ evaluative language and mood word:consistency and inconsistency)×3(Grade: seventh grade、eighth grade、ninth grade)×2(Gender:male and female)×3(Academic level :excellence ordinary bad)mixed experimental design.The teachers’ evaluative language and mood words are the within-subject variable.Grade、 gender、educational level are the between-subjects variables.The subjects’ reaction time is the dependent variable.The second experiment explores the influence of different types of teachers’ evaluative language on junior middle school students’ learning state’. Using a 4(Teacher’s evaluative language: specific positive evaluation, general positive evaluation, specific negative evaluation, general negative evaluation)×3(Grade: seventh grade、eighth grade、ninth grade)× 2(Gender : male and female) × 3(Academic level : excellence 、 ordinary 、bad)between-subjects design.The independent variable is the teacher’s evaluative language,the dependent variable is the self-reported score of learning state.The results of experiment shows that:(1)Emotion priming effect was found in the teacher’s evaluative language for junior high school students.(2)the Emotion priming effect of teacher’s evaluative language for junior high school students is common.Teacher’s evaluative language can launch the Emotion of different grades、genders、educational levels of junior middle school students’.(3)The teachers’ evaluative language can affect the junior high school students’ learning state.Specific positive evaluation and general positive evaluation can significantly improve the level of junior high school students’ learning state. Specific negative evaluation and general negative evaluation can significantly reduce the level of junior high school students’ learning state.(4)Different types of teachers’ evaluative language have different influences to the junior high school students’ learning state.Specific positive language and general positive evaluation can raise the level of students’ learning status at the same level.General negative evaluation can reduce the learning more than specific negative evaluation.(5)Different types of teachers’ evaluation have different influence to different junior high school students.Specific positive language and general positive evaluation can significantly improve the different grade、gender、education level of junior high school students’ learning state level.Specific negative evaluation can significantly reduce the seventh grade、ninth grade students’ learning state level,but it has no significant influence on the eighth grade students’ learning state,which can significantly reduce the learning state level of boys but no significant influence to girls.Specific negative evaluation can also significantly reduce the academic and bad groups students’ learning level, but had no significant influence on the ordinary students’ learning.General negative evaluation can significantly reduce the different grade、gender、educational level of junior high school students’ learning level.
