This thesis mainly is I in painting creation in the process of understanding of line is weakening. Fine brushwork figure painting after a long period of development, formed a complete set of painting system line is the most basic elements of traditional Chinese realistic painting figures and modelling method, and the line as a form of language has the independent aesthetic value and charm. But as the concept of western realistic painting and transformation of the mass aesthetic taste and so on a series of social changes and traditional Chinese realistic painting characters in the process of its development. Line in modern fine brushwork figure creation phenomenon appeared gradually weakened. This thesis mainly is to want to pass such a phenomenon, to explore the cause of the weakening line as well as to the effect of the fine brushwork figure painting. And then try to say this phenomenon through the development trend of modern fine brushwork figure painting and the development process of how to deal with the relationship between inheritance and innovation.
