In this paper, the research background, purpose, basic method, market status and the influence if the internet on the traditional market are discussed and the fact that children’s book design gap between domestic and international is large. Also, some problems in children’s book design are raised. Then the readers of children’s books--the children--are analyzed by three aspects: the development of children’s cognition, their game psychology and the perception of color. Later the analysis results are applied to the design of interactive children’s books, which makes the books meet the habits of children’s reading and improves its efficiency. Besides, the meaning of interactive is proposed which lead to the definition of interactive children’s book design. As a result, they have many characters and advantages and one of them is the creativity. The next chapter is the core party, which studies the design methods for children’s books, according to the analysis of children’s cognition. There are three kinds of design methods: First, behavior based methods(folding, collage, rotation, assemble, complete instructions, thinking, etc.). Second, 2、sense based methods(sight, touch, smell and hearing). Third, other interactivity mode. Moreover, the APPs on mobile terminals are studied and the characters, which can be applied to interactivity children’s book design, are induced. Last, after proposing, analyzing, solving the problem, the necessity of studying the interactivity children’s book design is clear, which provide guidance for designers who work for children’s books.
