| The study of modern female poetry is always ignored by academic. The studies are just small pieces of someone. The female poetry has difficulty reaching the view of main academic. The history of Chinese Modern Literature has various editions, but they don’t introduce modern female poems in independent chapters. Instead of it, it is Bing Xin who is evaluated in sections. Other modern female poets are only known for their dependent mass organizations and schools, such as Lin Huiyin in Later New Moon School, Zheng Min and Chen Jingrong in Nine Leaves School. Modern Poetry with thirty years experienced Chinese struggle against Japan. The war resulted in separation of politics, economy and culture, so literary creation gradually developed. In this era, female poets demonstrated the cruelty of war, the sufferings of people and own the belief of success. They made great progress in poetry, thus they can be regarded as the most mature poets in the history of modern female poetry. They are Zheng Min and Chen Jingrong.The poems of Zheng Min and Chen Jingrong in 1940 s are representative for modern female poetry. They are both one of Nine Leaves School, both started great poetry and made much progress in the era of struggle against Japan1940 s. Academic just study them separately instead of the comprehensive comparative research.This thesis takes the wartime 1940 s as the background, analyzes their similarities and differences in poetry and explores the possibilities of modern literature and aesthetic evolution. Main thesis is divided into three parts: the first part states Zheng and Chen’s pursuits of poetic on the basis of their cognition and trial for the rules and forms of classical poetic composition and freedom. What’s more, the thesis compares the choice of sculpturing and circulating images and artistic conception, in brief their respective poetics styles. The second part mainly researches their spiritual pursuits in poem constructions. They focus on individual emotion and life, then think about nation’s circumstances and destiny, and speculate the ultimate destiny and evaluation of human life and universe. On the basis of the above, the third part expounds their meanings for Nine Leaves School and strengthens of campus poetic style. With female’s independent voice rights and different from male’s poetry, their constructions proclaim the inheritance and development for 1920 s and 1930 s, thus explore the aesthetic evolution of modern female poetry. |
