Fujian Putian Meizhou Island is the birthplace of Mazu Mazu belief and the birthplace of Mazu culture, with its broad and profound connotation and profound wide extension to the world civilization, history and culture of thousands of years. The belief of Mazu in Meizhou Island in the Song Dynasty, after the radiation propagation times to the rest of the world, profound culture, rich cultural heritage. In September 30, 2009, "Mazu" was listed by UNESCO as a list of world intangible cultural heritage of mankind, from around the world. The festival of music and dance is an important part of Mazu belief, with the protection and heritage value. The results of this study mainly on the basis of previous scholars, a comprehensive actual participation in the field experience, focus on the program content of Mazu festival dance, take the progressive method, field investigation method, literature analysis method, analysis method of dance forms, showing a unique Mazu festival dance dance forms and cultural connotations to the people, and in-depth analysis of Mazu the festival of music and dance show the social function and value and how the inheritance, carry forward.
