Aesthetic Value Of The Water And Color In Watercolor Painting

In the long years of development of the human’s art of painting, the two distinctive painting systems, East and West painting system has formed. When these two kinds of painting forms collide and merge with each other, the new painting language will gradually produce. Chinese watercolor art is continuously developing in this environment. The china watercolor paintings are borrowed from Western types. Take root in the China, has a history of more than 200 years. Because of the uniqueness of watercolor painting’s material, tools and techniques, Chinese watercolor painting inheritance of Western culture, and fusion of China culture. China watercolor show its unique artistic charm.In this paper, the main purpose is study the aesthetic value of watercolor painting. We start from the unique charm of watercolor painting, to studies the causes for this unique charm, we stand from the aspects of materials and techniques respectively. Watercolor is the art of water and color. So in this paper, the aesthetic value of water and color in watercolor are discussed respectively. And in this aesthetic consciousness, we have raised our view on the future development of Chinese watercolor. The author thinks that the watercolor painting wants to demonstrate its unique charm and achieves great progress and development must based on the connected with the local culture, and improve their own ability of artistic expression, aesthetic consciousness.
