It has been confirmed that rapid naming disorder is one of the skill defects of reading disorder by Chinese and western language dyslexia study. Rapid naming(Rapid Automatized Naming, abbreviated as RAN) refers to the ability to quickly and accurately naming. The typical RAN tests include two materials : alphanumeric(letters, numbers) and non-alphanumeric(pictures, color). In this study, the innovative rapid naming tasks were first used on the Uyghur dyslexia children aimed to discover the relationship between rapid naming ability and graphy to phonology conversion ability based on the graphy to phonology conversion defect. Digital- dice RAN task and vocabulary- photo RAN task were used in this study. The behavioral and eye movement results in alphanumeric and non-alphanumeric naming of these two types of materials were analyzed in order to discuss the differences in the degree of automation of the conversion from the two types of visual material to voice code,as well as its effect on rapid naming ability and reading ability, which could be helpful to understand the rapid naming defect and Uyghur dyslexia.
