For China having made great achievments in economics and comprehensive national strength since the reform and open-up, so the world’s eyes are focusing on China’s image. Chinese scholars, politicians concerned abou the shape and spread of China’s national image.And international scholars explore the public’s Chinese politics, economy, culture, history and many other aspects of the overall assessment by foreign newspapers,magazines, literature, film and television work, etc.Unlike literature and film, textbooks, in a sense, reflects a country’s integrity and official cogniton to other country.As a mirror, national image in textbooks is a reflection on the international relations,or the image of their own. Based on this, with the image of China in Kyrgyzstan college history textbooks, for example,this paper reveals types,resources, methods and misunderstandingof building China’s image the Central Asian countries in the post-Soviet. First, by selecting of typical history textbooks of Kyrgyzstan college, the author creat a library of date on China’s image by translating, collating, inducting, consolidating. Secondly, by useing text-analysis and methods of critical discourse-analysis,the author summarize four types of China’s image:Confucianism China-a state of ceremonies ethical standard,Inclusive China- a sea of forms,and Stagnation Empire- a state of disorder cycle, humiliationrevolution- the rise of modern China image.Finally, the author found that they have the same image of China in Kyrgyzstan’s colleage history textbooks and Russia’s.There are two reasons: First, the influence of Russian chauvinism and Russian tsarist of the Soviet era, the Russian culture up to a half-century of colonization,Kyrgyzstan inherits the Russian empire and the Soviet Union on China’s "authoritarian state", "decrepit state", "states of the agnation,".the second, for lacking of subject awareness of independent and swiss between East and West after independent.and this lead Kyrgyzstan to lost coordinate and direction of ain culture,so China’s image is necessarily vague ambiguous.In short, by studing the China’s image in history textbooks in Kyrgyzstan colleage, it can not only broade research field of the image of China,but also enrich the subject.whats’ more,it will transfer the point and focus for academic circlel,and in some degree can help us to understand clearerly China’s image in the Kyrgyzstan government and popular people,and will help to contribute for building a better China- New Silk Road, creating a good international China’s image.
