| Qin Dexiang is a music educator and theoretician who’s devoted his whole life to the current and modern music education. The essence of his music education thought and his research on Chinese traditional music theory is of great realistic significance to the development of our country’s music education.This thesis adopted research methods such as document analysis, case analysis,interviews, with Qin Dexiang’s music education thought as the research subject, to conclude and study the background of the formation of his music education thought,his musical performance and composition, musical contribution, research fields and the modern practical meaning of his thought. Through analysis, we can find that musical practice plays a significant role in the formation of Qin Dexiang’s thought. To conduct this research, I compiled information from books, thesis and interviews related to Qin Dexiang, which are mainly about Chinese music theory and his teaching methods, in order to make a comparison and finally get my conclusion.The thesis includes four parts:The first part gives a brief introduction to the subject, including the source, target,meaning and the research status at home and abroad. Besides, I make a literature review of former studies on this subject and provide my research methods.The second part describes the background of the formation of Qin Dexiang’s music education thought and systematically introduces Qin Dexiang’s music teaching practice and music education thought.The third part concludes Qin Dexiang’s prominent contribution to the development of Chinese music and his research field.The fourth part expounds the contemporary practical meaning of Qin Dexiang’s music education thought. |
