The Study Of New Combinations Of Materials In Oil Painting

The creation of art work is a complicated mental activity and production activities with high aesthetic value, which brings the emotional experience within life and work into the art work. Oil painting is the important part of painting art, with its unique creativity and personality, whether abstract or figurative performance conveys the author’s way of thinking.With today’s rapid development of information technology, a large amount of visual languages constantly fills in our lives. As the enhancement of aesthetic and spiritual needs, innovation is undoubtedly the top priority for oil painting. Due to the widely use of comprehensive material in oil-painting, oil painting manifestation cannot only break the single mode of traditional oil painting creation, but also make the expression of oil painting much more substantial and diverse. From the original artistic creation, various painting materials usually adopt different techniques of expression. For example, rock paintings use the method of carving, printing and engraving to present human emotions; ground painting is created by charcoal; silk painting uses writing brush and ink to compose; lacquer painting, oil painting, traditional Chinese painting and fabric use different methods and different media to express different artistic features. With the development of oil painting art today, besides leap-type progress and development of creative methods and manifestations, its aesthetic idea and artistic concept that artists attempt to express through works also generate a great change and present the development tendency of diversification in oil painting art.Painting has its strong sense of art expression which reflected in color, texture, light, space and composition and so on. Based on the background of painting creation, this paper analyzes comprehensive materials and the applications of its performance in oil painting creation, through the research on stereo space to explore the artistic tension in oil painting creation. By combining various materials and techniques, the paper tries to express emotions of artists and fully reflect the beauty of materials. In this way, the paper can inherit and develop oil painting creation, innovate and explore the future development of oil painting by using the new visual language. Conducting research on the usage and the performance of comprehensive materials in oil painting is able to put forward feasible and innovative proposals on creative ideas for paintings, methods of manifestation, the choices of materials, creative inspiration and so on.By analyzing the characteristics and performance of oil painting materials, inheriting and developing methodologies of materials that used for paintings adopted by predecessor artists, through constant creation and practice, I summarized and outlined five painting methods regarding comprehensive materials. The proper use of different materials and techniques during the drawing process can make comprehensive materials paintings a much more perfect and forceful visual effects.Comprehensive materials used in oil paintings cannot only enrich the technique of expression and content in oil painting but also play a vital role in reflecting “personality” in oil painting. On the basis of inheritance and development, by introducing masterpieces from both domestic and overseas, mentor’s work and my own achievements of research and investigation, this article interpreted the innovative language presented in the application and presentation of comprehensive materials.
