An Overview Of Researches In The Dialect And Folk Culture Of Shaanbei

Shaanbei is located in the northern part of Shaanxi Province, the center part of the Loess Plateau. This magical land contains a unique folk culture. As the folk custom culture and language research upsurging in recent years, Shaanbei dialect and culture has caused a large number of scholars ’ attention, and achieved fruitful results, but all of them belong to the research of fragments, so we need further in-depth and extensions. This paper related to the material of shaanxi folk culture will be a large number of entries for classification, and in-depth study to explore the bearing cultural connotation and the spiritual world. This paper is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction, which briefly introduces the basic situation of shaanbei and defines the concept of material folk culture. Also the relationship between the folk culture and language are briefly expounded in this paper,as well as the research methods and significance. The second part is about shaanbei dialect and shaanbei costume culture researches, and we will deeply discuss the unique costumes of shaanxi with the development of the society and changes in shanbei clothing. The third part: shaanbei dialect and diet culture. The diet is necessary part for people to live.based on the analysis of the shaanbei diet entries, we will know more about people’s living habits and their economic and social conditions of Shaanbei. Residential culture, and the fourth part mainly wrote shaanbei dialect through the cave of shaanbei careful inquiry, excavate the unique local natural environment, geological features, and the local people living habits, and contains the profound cultural connotation. The fifth part is mainly about Shaanbei dialect and trade culture. According to the unique characteristics of the shaanbei dialect words, it will highlight the people’s ability and wisdom during the producting and trading,and their diligence too. The sixth part is the conclusion, basicly summarizes the whole text. Through the research of shaanbei dialect and material system summary and analysis of folk culture, on one hand can contain deep folk culture in shaanbei dialect, on the other hand can also contribute the folk custom culture and dialect research to a higher deeper development.
