Study On The Dance Type Of Song Dynasty

"Dance type of Song dynasty" is a proposition generated from exploring the dancing phenomenon on the background of song culture. It is a type of dance which sets Neo-Confucianism as core of thoughts, and "team dance" in the broad sense as classic form. Based on the literature analysis of ancient Dance Spectrum and the comparative analysis of the form of opera dances and active "team dance" which remains in Korea at present, "Song dance form" illustrates the evolution of the kernel of dance movements, schematism, melody and rhythm and epitaxial "dance". The extension of dance compares the dance domain of《Zhe Zhi Team》 with that of 《Lotus Tai》. Whereas, the dance kernel takes "spin" as its origin, coordinating the head of nodding, raising and turning back, the upper limbs of drooping, lifting, opening and closing, the torso of curling, tian, twisting and tilting and lower limbs of squatting, pedaling, spinning and treading to form a stylized movement system. Schematism kernel takes "square" and "circle" as basic route. The kernel of melody and rhythm is to dance with the melody, "prelude(slow), break(urgent), che(slow)". My thesis is to illustrate song dance culture’s value of its form by using its isotropy. The song dance culture presents some inner value orientation, such as "ritual" of condensing national consciousness, "moral instruction" of disseminating rationalism, "roundup" of expanding innovation vision, "formality" of establishing notation mechanism and "hedonism" of structuring acceptance.
