The dissertation mainly analyzes marshal Pibun government’s policies to assimilate Chinese in Thailand and focuses on the main reasons how Thailand succeeds in assimilation. This investigation is conducted in history background of Chinese migration into Thailand, the assimilation policies before Marshal Pibun government, natural assimilation, and Marshal Pibun period of assimilation policies. The results showed that the policies implemented by Marshal Pibun government have a significant impact on Overseas Chinese in politics, economy and education. For unrestricted, a large number of them selected to become Thai. Either by implementing the moderate policies or the forced policies, all Thai governments had attempted to assimilate the Overseas Chinese into Thai. Furthermore, they are not assimilated but initiated to integrate into Thai society. Finally, ethics Chinese and Thai had created "inter-cultural". Nowadays,Thai born Chinese and Thai have no difference.
