Wang xianqian’s XunZiJiJie is a collection of Yang Jin’s( Tang Dynasty)comprehensive notes and the one of notes on 15 cementers in the Qing dynasty, which is ever Xunzi’s most detailed and perfect notebook and is also a comprehensive summary of the results of previous studies. Based on the exegesis of the XunZiJIJie,this paper is arranged as followed.An introduction. Introduce to Xunzi’s language researches, discussing the significance of this subject, research methods and the problems existed so far..The first chapter tells Wang xianqian and his XunZiJiJie, including a set of life resumes, his purposes for the book.The second chapter tells XunZiJIJie Exegetical style and terminology. Xun Zi JI Jie’s methods are divided into layout style and interpretation. Wang xianqian has so many terms used including term and the term of the word, by chapter, terminology,description text term interchangeable terms, Foley, description of rhetorical terms and terminology to express their opinions in seven aspects.The third chapter tells XunZiJiJie Exegetical method. Method used by the paper to form the textual exegesis, seeking justice, according to dictionaries and ancient note, understand grammar, case, according to a book of general orders and test variants. My thesis refers to Wang Ning and Guo Zaiyi’s books about the Exegetical methodology and in the exegesis of the Exegetical method of Exposition.The fourth chapter tells XunZiJijie takes the inheritance and the schooling again.Varying from the text and words, phrases and supplement.The fifth chapter tells XunZiJiJie’s status in the history of Exegesis. The achievement of XunZi JiJie in Exegesis embodies in its erudition, compatibility, using many Exegetical methods, adopting better emendation; distinguishing itself from ordinary opinions, and His realistic attitude towards researchments. Finally, there is an concise explanations of its inadequateness in this part.
