Application Of "Negative Space" In Modern Ceramic Art Creation

As a new aesthetic and artistic language more and more "negative space" attracted the attention of artists in art creation. "Negative space" the artistic concept has been used in many forms of art. As Chinese traditional painting in the "blank" art; Chinese garden "window" design; that the graphic design of the "negative"; the use of negative space in sculpture. In recent years, in the ceramic art, more and more artists began to use the negative space of the art form of artistic creation. Based on this, I put the research subject as my thesis, the whole paper is divided into five parts. Firstly, based on the results of analysis and research of negative space, illustrating the necessity of negative space as a kind of aesthetic and artistic language exists. This article mainly from the ceramic products, analysis of the use of negative space form of ceramic art and modern ceramic sculpture and other areas, trying to explore in the field of ceramics, the use of negative space and show the art language form and spirit connotation. Finally discusses the lighting, contour, the performance of three bit plane design of external factors such as the impact of negative space in modern ceramics. The writing of this thesis is to broaden the means of modern ceramic art, ceramic art language rich, hope to have both advantages and disadvantages in ceramic art creators.
