Objective: Taking 3 college students whose personalities are obviously partly negative to discuss that the shaping of the personalities of university students can be realized by using the Metacognition Intervention Technique.Methods: On the condition of single subject or small N in experimental research, applying Multiple-baseline design will suit to experiment. During the experiment we used SCL-90 and 16 PF to test the students and make progress going well. The result will validate the efficiency of Metacognition Intervention Technique on the shaping of personalities of university students.Results: The differences between the scores of 3 students on 16 Pf before and after the intervention show that the intervention really goes well on the shaping of adults personality.Conclusion: The results support the assumptions that adult personality can be changed by means of the psychological consultation. Metacognition Intervention Technique really has effects on the shaping of the personalities of university students. The key to solve this problem is to find the ingredients of the subconscious minds. So we can change adult personality by changing the unsuitable conditional reflection. This experiment deserves more attention in the future experiment.
