Comparative Study Of The Well-being On The Social Strata In China

Objective: 1. Analyzing and comparing the well-being’s status of different social strata;2.Exploring the influencing factors of the well-being of different social strata;3.According to the research conclusion put forward Suggestions and countermeasures to improve the social stratum’s well-being.Methods: Selecting 978 residents of Jiangxi as the objects and evaluating them with The Chinese citizen happiness questionnaire, and analyzing data with SPSS 19.0and LISREL8.70.Results: 1.The Chinese citizens’ well-being questionnaire has good reliability and validity, can be applied to different classes of well-being measurement in Jiangxi province;2.Happiness of different social stratum’s ranking from high to low is: state and social administrators 、 managers 、 commercial service personnel 、 private entrepreneurs、professional and technical personnel、self-employment personnel、works、agricultural laborers、staff personnel、unemployed personnel, state and social administrator’s well-being index is 5.68 ± 1.30, and unemployed personnel’s well-being index is 5.68±1.30; 3.The well-being index of married state and social administrator、managers、private entrepreneurs、professional and technical personnel are higher than unmarried,and excepting those social stratum,other social stratum have the situation that the more income,the higher well-being index. The well-being index of elder state and social administrator 、 state and social administrator and agricultural laborers are higher than young, but managers and unemployed personnel are opposite. The well-being index of the highly educated professional and technical personnel 、 staff personnel 、 works are higher than low educated, but commercial service personnel is opposite; 4. The fact of social morality is the highest frequency to each social strata well-being index,and the fact of state of the economy have the most impact on overall well-being index.Conclusion: 1.Most of the well-being in the hierarchy above the medium level,but the agricultural Labourers and the unemployed personnel need more attention;2.The well-being of different social strata have significant difference; 3.The influential factors have good effect in predicting well-being.
