On Translation Of Idioms In Mongolian And Chinese From The Perspective Of Culture

In recent years, a study on translation from the cultural-translation perspective has become one of the hottest research topics. Idioms,as a linguistic phenomenon,can be regarded as the most special part of the language, and they are heavily culture-loaded. Because of those cultural differences, idioms become one of the greatest barriers for cross-cultural communication.The level of idioms translation directly affects the whole translation quality and the success of the cross-cultural communication.This thesis is to discuss the mutual translation between Mongolian and Chinese idioms from the cultural translation perspectives,via the following aspects:the concept of idioms; the forming background of idioms; the types of idioms;the characteristics of idioms;the translation methods of idioms and so on.
