The Use Of Geometric Graphics In The Language Of Chinese Landscape Painting Form

Geometry, as a means of expression of the form of painting language with a long history of evolution and development, enjoys characteristics of planarity, regularity, simplicity, decorative and abstract on visual experience. At the same time the visual aesthetic tendency of contemporary art emphasizes in a simple form of language to intuitively and vividly demonstrate the rich nature of the object and feelings. What is commonly seen is to express one’s emotional experience and to attract the viewer’s visual attention through a high degree of generalization and abstraction refinement of a partial image, as well as the overall structure and effect of the painting. In addition, the unique and easy-to-recognize characteristics of geometry in visual image also encourage the communication and interaction with the viewers via geometry semantics.
