The Wanli shipwreck is located at 60 miles offshore of Tan jong Jara in Malaysia from which numerous and marvelous ceramic shards have been found. Blue- and-white porcelains in Jingdezhen are the remarkable, which is also a attractive and essential part of research. And the load of Wanli shipwreck is of great significance to the studies on exported porcelain and on Jingdezhen porcelain manufacture industry in Late-Ming dynasty.Based on arrangement on the ceramic shards and a survey on Chinese and Western historical documents, this thesis discusses the classification of the porcelains of Wanli shipwreck, mainly includes Jingdezhen kiln ceramic and a small number of non-Jingdezhen kiln ceramic. Further addressing blue- and-white porcelains in Jingdezhen from two aspects:domestic porcelains and export porcelains; at the same time doing systematical arrangement, induction andanalysis shape、decoration、 inscription of blue- and-white porcelains in Jingdezhen in Wanli shipwreck. Based on these above, selecting "White leeuw"(1613) and Hatcher shipwreck (circa 1643) as representatives to compare with blue- and-white porcelains in Jingdezhen in Wanli shipwreck from the shape and ornamentation.The excavator StenSjostrand found that a large number of the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty style porcelains, so he named this ship after"Wanli shipwreck", there are also other scholars at home and abroad question this name, opinions have being varied on the name ever since.With the textual research failure through history documents only, this thesis uses blue- and-white porcelains of Wanli shipwreck in Jingdezhen to compare with the porcelains unearthed from tombs, abandoned towns with accurate year, all these material evidences provide a much more potent argument, it suggest that the lower limit of the time period of porcelains were made in this ship is explored to be between Apocalypse two years (1622) and early of Chongzhen.Lastly, some blue- and-white porcelains for sale in domestic market and some firing discs stuck to the shipwreck pieces were found in "Wanli shipwreck", so the author make the corresponding analysis for the two phenomena.
