The Book of Songs and Lisao are two major sources of classical Chinese poetics. Represented by The Book of Songs, taking "poetry express ambition" as the core connotation, form the "Elegant Poetics" tradition of the history of literature. Represented by The Songs of Chu, taking "expression under indignation" as the core connotation, form the "Resentment Poetics" tradition of the history of literature.The first part of the paper is the interpretation of the "Elegant Poetics", and summarizing the forming process of the "Elegant Poetics" tradition from pre-Qin period to Han Dynasty and its core connotation. "Elegant" is the essence of The Book of Songs and the embodiment of its spirit model. "Neutralization" is the philosophical connotation and aesthetic ideal of the "Elegant Poetics". The "Elegant Poetics" also has a close relationship about Confucius’thought of "Xing, Guan, Qun, Yuan" and the etiquette and music culture in Zhou Dynasty. The emergence of the theory of "gentle and sincere" marked the independence of "Elegant Poetics". Under the influence of "Mao Shi Foreword", the "Elegant Poetics" has formed a political literature view which is talked about "Praise and Satirical" and put the private writing "public" after Han Dynasty.The second part mainly discusses the forming process of the "Resentment Poetics" tradition represented by The Songs of Chu from pre-Qin period to Han Dynasty and its core connotation. Patriotic and loyal to the throne is the ideological roots of the "Resentment Poetics". Independent and noble personality is the personality roots of the "Resentment Poetics". The formation of the characteristics of the "Resentment Poetics" also has a close relationship about the Chu culture’s cultivation. "Expression under indignation" is the core connotation of the "Resentment Poetics". Wise men lose the will and things of indignation are the theme and content of the "Resentment Poetics". The most important trait of the "Resentment Poetics" is focusing on expressing private emotion. Wang yi put forward a viewpoint about "in the first place, satire and remonstrate; second, consoling oneself, he wants to make a balance between the "mind" and "emotions".The third part of the paper deals with the transmutation of the "Elegant Poetics" and "Resentment Poetics" in Han Dynasty. The purpose of "Elegant Poetics" in Han Dynasty is satirizing and remonstrating, it works for political literature view. Satire and remonstration are the "mind" of the Han Da Fu. Although the attention of Fu always changing, from luxurious to lawful, from lawful to benevolent government, accompanied with the pursuit for true. The purpose of using affair to prove the "mind" is not change. The "Resentment Poetics" in Han Dynasty is a combination of "emotion expression" and "self-consolation". It’s a Mind Poetics which the scholars use to express their emotion and console their mind. The mind’s connotation has a great change from the Yanzhifu. If the "mind" of Han Da Fu is to convey satire and remonstrate of political and moralize, the "mind" of Yanzhifu is scholars’personal "mind" without political and moralization. The tradition of "express aspiration" and "express emotion" begin to combine from "comfort mind" to "show mind".The fourth part of the article mainly discusses the merge of "mind" and "emotions" on the basic of "scholars’conscious awareness" and "awakening of human beings". The thought of four character verse change from "satire and remonstrate" to "deviate from five classics and elegance". Yuefu poetry is susceptible to funeral music and expressing emotions according to matters. The "Nineteen Ancient Poems" lay emphasis on express secular emotions. The literati in the Jian’an period pick up the tradition of "concerned about the world and record of world affairs" on the basis of express secular emotions. "Mind" and "emotions" finally merge together from "Elegant" "Resentment" to "Elegant-Resentment". The literati in the Jian’an period show a strong sense of achievements basis on true feelings, turn the "mind" of "Elegant Poetics" to the scholars’"mind". Caozhi’s poetry which has a character of "emotion with Elegant and Resentment" is the sign of the combination of "mind" and "emotions". Because of it, Luji finally put forward the idea that "Poety originates from emotion showing vivid".The last part is mainly about the forming of Shisao tradition.To sum up, this paper is aimed at exploring the transmutation of "Elegant" and "Resentment" poetics from pre-Qin period to Wei and Jin Dynasties. And reveal the combination of "mind" and "emotions" on the basis of true feelings and the forming of Shisao tradition.
