Project Report On The Translation Of Three-Year Action Plans For Nanning’s Industrial Development

Nanning is not only the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, but also the permanent host city of China-ASEAN Expo. The above advantageous geographical position has contributed a lot to the fast-speed development of various industries, thus Three-Year Action Plan for Nanning’s Electronic Information Industry Development (2013-2015), Three-Year Action Plan for Nanning’s Aluminum Deep Processing Industry Development (2013-2015) and Three-Year Action Plan for Nanning’s Food Industry Development (2013-2015) are worked out to guide the development of electronic information industry, aluminum deep processing industry and food industry and define the development priorities and main work, while the translation of these documents serves for publicity of industrial policies, as well as increase foreigners’ understanding of Nanning’s industrial polices.This is a Chinese to English translation project report of the three action plans, which shows the present situations, development ideas, main targets and main tasks of electronic information industry, aluminum deep processing industry and food industry.This report mainly discusses the following contents:preparation of translation, including translation tools, parallel texts, analysis of the texts, style analysis of source texts and translation and the likely readership; the description of translation processes, including translation methods and problems and solutions in translation; and at last, the translator summarizes her experience from the translation.
