The interpretation of Kafka’s literature works have been relatively mature in domestic literature researches, but the novel "The Man Who Disappeared" still hasn’t got enough attention. Focused on this novel, this article backtracking authors epoch background and novel creating process, analyzing the dream like American pictures in novel, shows the artistic value of Kafka’s fictional novels; in accordance with text analysis, interprets the technology Motif, and reveals that, the exaggerated pictures of the United States in this novel are actually illustrious personal touch that developed by Kafka’s artistic creation, and carries Kafka’s keen interest in modern technologies as well as his reflection on the alienation of technology upon human society. |
