"TCM doctor Wang Zaixing" is a documentary of Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor Wang Zaixing, a record of his practice, collecting of herbs, and other details of his daily life, showing his love and dedication to the Chinese medicinal practice by means of interviews, scene reconstruction and other film techniques.The thesis is aimed to analyse the production style of this documentary, embodying the innate spirit of the traditional Chinese cultural value "Balance” and “Harmony” of the traditional artistic aesthetics. The paper, relying on the relevant theoretical knowledge used in the documentary "TCM doctor Wang Zaixing", analyses the creative methods and the lens language of the film. In addition, the paper also discussed the problems encountered during the creative process of the film, through the summing up of the experience, trying to improve the ability to shoot and to deal with the problems.
