There is a classic problem that the relationship between language&culture and cognition in the philosophy and cognitive science.At present,there are two conflictive theory,the one that cognitive has nothing to do with culture, language, while another is that cognitive related to culture, language.Color cognition is the classic example of investigate the relation between language&culure and cognition.The present Comparative study of the Mongolian and Han college students has used natural classification and culture prime to invest that problem.This study has included three experiments.The first experiment has used natural classification to compare Mongolian and Han undergraduate on the color terms classification, and then found that two ethnicity’s categorization of 11 kinds of basic color terms method is very difference. This difference suggest that language and culture impact on two national classificationof color term.The second experiment has also used naturel clssification to compare to two ethnicitie’s classification of color piece, and then found that two ethnicity’s categorization of 11 kinds of color method is very difference. This difference suggest that language and culture impact on two national color perception.The last experiment has used culture prime to discuss color similarity of Mongolian-Han bicultural,becauce it explored the reason of the difference among these ethnicities. Finally found that cultural context really led to bicultural of color similarity evaluation is different, and so we can make sure that the color of the language and culture does influence the bicultural cognition.In conclusion,The present result suggest that perception would indeed affected by language and culture, and provide the evidence of the Whorf hypothesis.
