This translation report will summarize the difficulties the author encountered during the translation process. The author also integrates the Skopos Theory with the specific translation examples, and uses some translation measures, like literal translation, liberal translation, and so on to translate the names of American government organizations and political programs. The purpose of the translation practice is to express the true meanings of these names and let target readers understand the report of the US government.
