This is a translation report for Chapter 2 of Contract Law Directions written by the British scholars Richard Taylor and Damian Taylor. Contract Law Directions is a textbook which is popular with the law schools in the Great Britain. The book gives the introduction to the elements of contract、the rights and obligations stipulated in the contract and compensation thereof and so on. At the same time, the book also discusses the principles of contract law and the theory system of British contract law. First, the translation report summarizes the common methods of translating attributive clause of general English. Then, the writer analyzes the attributive clause in this textbook and illustrates the solution to attributive clause translation in legal English. On one hand, this translation report is aimed to provide convenience for those who want to know something about contract law, and on the other hand, through this translation, it can also test legal English translation level of the author, at the same time provide reference for the people engaged in legal English translation.
