This issue finally puts its attention on themeaning of being. To seek the meaning of being, we have to turn to the existence ofhuman being. Form the ontological point of view, Heidegger considers human being asDasein and specifies the being of human being as Existence. The existence of humanbeing is as Heidegger puts: Being-in-the-World. Dasein s Being-a-whole which representsthe wholeness of the ontological structure is Dasein s being as Care. This article aims atinterpreting the concept of Care and several problems referring to Care as thephenomenon of Habit. In tracing the ancient meaning of habit, it shows that Habit hasthe meaning of having or to have in Aristotle s context. This meaning proves that themeaning of Habit may have connection with ontology. According to this connection, theinterpretation will proceed in three dimensions: interpreting Dasein as the who he has athing (the owner), interpreting the world as the thing which who has (the owning thing)and explaining the phenomenon of Ready-to-hand, Falling, Thrownness and Dasein sowning itself based on the structure of Habit as having—had. This interpretationreveals the tendency of subjectivity in Being and Time which could cause a possibility thatBeing would fall back into Beings. In relating to the concept of Dwelling andStaying(Aufenthalt) in Heidegeer s latter books, our interpretation will attempt to solvethis problem along the trail of the question of habit. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Habit, Being-in-the-World, Care, Being, Beings, Dwelling, Staying | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
