Analysis For The Translated Works In Children’s World During The Editor Of Zhengzhenduo

Zhengzhenduo published the magazine Children’s World in Shangh ai,7th, Jan,1922.It is published by the Commercial Press.After it, Zhen Zhenduo took over as the editor of Novel Monthly and Xu Yingcha ng took over Chlidren’s World.There are many children’s favourite liter ature works in Children’s world.In the first year of its emergence,there published a large number of foreign chlidren’s translated works.This paper is aimed at comb the translated works in Children’s World and analyze why it happened,then introduce the translation study characteristics of foreign children’s literature works and the influence on the creative works.The full text has four chapters,the first chapter introduces the background and gives the introduction of Children’s World,realizing its important role in the period of May Fourth Culture Movement.The second chapter sorts out the translated works in Children’s World through forms and analyzes the works from two aspects.Tale mostly is Andersen Fairy tales,Grimm’s Fairy tales and Oscar Wilde Fairy tale;Indian fables,Tolstoy fables and Aesop’s fables is in the majority of the fables. The author tries to analysis its reasons and the reasons why they are from different countries.The third chapter analyses the translation study characteristics of foreign chlidren’s literature works in Children’s World,in aspects of translation methods and language. The translation methods is given priority to paraphrase and retold translation in the fairy tales,and translators try to translate fables literally.The translation languange is pain and childlike.Translators use vernacular to confirm the understandable languange in May Fourth Culture Movement,which inevitably exerts an influence of European integration. The fourth chapter starts with the translated theory and the translated works in Chlidren’s World.In details,it considers that some works which have affected by the translated works directly,such as Zheng Zhenduo,primary school teachers and children.It also researches works which have affected by translated works indirectly,mainly by creative subject of Literature Research Association.From this point,it is obvious that the translated works in Children’s World have assimilated into the works in the period of May Fourth.
