A Translation Project Report About Scope Description Of Requirements On Coal Fired Power Plant Project

This is a report on translation of "Scope Description" of Employer’s Requirements on Coal Fired Power Plant Project. The section of "Scope Description" includes a general description of the Project, and a detailed description of the Contractor’s expected scope of works, the responsibilities and obligations of the Employer and Contractor, the technical requirements and specifications for major equipment and facilities associated with the Plant.When translating the source text, the writer encountered with some problems, including specialized word selection problem, translating methods and skills of passive voice, non-finite form of verb and long and complex sentences etc. And finally, the writer finished the report based on the translating notes which shows the experience from the translating task.This report is divided into five parts.
