Under the background of cultural globalization, modernity system brings huge impact on whole society and the individual, cultural identity appears particularly important after the problem of cultural identity of ethnic, national culture security and individual self identification occurrence, which makes the construction of modern cultural identity particularly urgent and has also become an important topic of modern system cannot be avoided. In the modern society, the relationship between modern system and cultural identity needs and deserves people research further.Based on the analysis of production, operation and the development process of the modern system and the relationship with cultural identity, the author thinks that the system is the presupposition under the concept of cultural identity, the cultural identity has laid the foundation for the modern system and strengthened the function of modern system; after the generation of modern system, it breaks the traditional pattern of cultural identity, creates the new environment of cultural identity and gives the power of construction of modern cultural identity; Relations between modern system of production and operation process and cultural identity embody preliminarily unity of contradiction, and that appears more obvious in the developing process of modern institutional, on the one hand, modern system and cultural identity have the existence of exclusion and conflict, and the modern system prompts the cultural identity issues obviously, while the traditional cultural identity examines and doubts the modern system, on the other hand, modern system and modern cultural identity attract and complements each other, they achieve development together in the dialectical interaction.
