Abstract/Summary:
All people’s lives have their purposiveness and orientation, happiness is the ultimate and ideal state that all people pursue. Either strict philosophy contains the understanding of life. Caring for people’s sufferings and the pursuing of happiness constitute the ultimate concern of Marxist Philosophy. Nevertheless, it the view of ancient philosophy, happiness is simply come down to the satisfaction of physical desires and the result of pure reason thought. Likewise, people always have wrong cognition in their daily lives for that they are unclear of the concept of happiness, they view contradictions idealistically or metaphysically, they imagine the world without contradictions and they realize the negative impact of the opposition of contradictions instead of the positive one, which result in sidedness of people’s understanding and pursuing happiness.This paper presents the objective, dialectical analyses and interpretations of happiness based on materialistic dialectics. The conclusion that happiness is the psychological experience of the fulfillment of vital life-purposes is drawn in this paper through a host of theoretical proof and illustrations. It illuminates the subjectivity and objectivity, authenticity and illusoriness, absoluteness and relativity of the view of happiness in a dialectical way. And it regards the view of happiness as a dialectical developing process by utilizing the method of contradiction analysis, then examines the contradictions and differences generated on the road to happiness, which not only disproves the abstractness and sidedness of traditional happiness views, but also means a lot to the set of the ultimate goal for people’s lives as well as the education of people’s view of happiness.
