Guangxi Zhuang author Huang Peihua is known as a strong sense of national identity, and his novels are deeply rooted in the northwest Guangxi native world, reflecting the rich cultural character of Zhuang. His local novels highlight the culture of Zhuang, with an open-minded and rational style tolerance. Encourage of Guangxi literary system makes his local novels richer artistic power. Huang Peihua is good at showing the complexity of human nature under the impact of tradition and modernity in rural and urban narrative space. He narrates the transformation of remote villages ancient custom destruction of human nature, but also pays attention to show the integration between ancient customs and modern civilization; when rendering Guangdong image, relative to the northwest Guangxi cultural, he shows the differences and conflicts in concepts between urban and rural areas truthfully. Huang Peihua’s local novels are also good at family narrative. The novel "Flow of Live" with a narrative structure of plate-type. Eight separate sectors witnessed the vicissitudes history of the Nong family during centuries. The novel with independent narrative section of the organic additive, as well as three-dimensional rendering of history of nation, achieves artistic effect of "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts", and gets a multiplier effect on the aesthetic.
