This thesis researches on the narrative of mother-daughter relationship in New Immigrants Chinese Fictions in Canada, using the feminist theory, family ethics,cultural identity, nostalgia, homeland consciousness theories, under cross-temporal and cross-cultural perspective, analyzes the forms of the mother-daughter relationship on the "homeland" and the "exotic". The narrative of mother-daughter relationship in New Immigrants Chinese Fictions in Canada presents various and complex forms of mother-daughter relationship, such as the estrangement and alienation, understanding and forgiveness, mother-daughter warmth, etc.. And it reflects the trend of the relationship from conflict to harmony.
