This thesis researches on the narrative of mother-daughter relationship in New Immigrants Chinese Fictions in Canada, using the feminist theory, family ethics,cultural identity, nostalgia, homeland consciousness theories, under cross-temporal and cross-cultural perspective, analyzes the forms of the mother-daughter relationship on the "homeland" and the "exotic". The narrative of mother-daughter relationship in New Immigrants Chinese Fictions in Canada presents various and complex forms of mother-daughter relationship, such as the estrangement and alienation, understanding and forgiveness, mother-daughter warmth, etc.. And it reflects the trend of the relationship from conflict to harmony. The narrative of mother-daughter relationship in New Immigrants Chinese Fictions in Canada reflects identity of the new immigrant women under double culture, geographical situation of China and Canada,manifesting the identity to mother, multicultural identity, and the complex identity of retrospect and construction of the motherhood family history. According to identity of the new immigrant women and the metaphor of mother-daughter relationship narrative, this thesis further explores home consciousness, relations between the homeland and the new home, cultural rupture and integration of cross-culture circumstances, and "new home" imagination and construct for new Chinese immigrants in Canada in New Immigrants Chinese Fictions in Canada.
