The Cross-Cultural Research On The Rorschach—the Comparison Sample Among China, Exner’ Normative And Japan

This article presents Rorschach Comprehensive System results for 119 adult nonpatients living in Guangdong province(Guangzhou, Dongguan and Foshan).Comparing with Exner norm and Japanese data. There are 52 of male and 67 of female.Ranged in age from 20 to 66, with an average age of 33.59(SD = 11.73). Divided into five ages:20-34 years old、35-49 years old、50-64 years old.Education degree can be divided into three groups, high school and the following group(35 cases), the university(59 cases), the master’s degree and above group(25 cases).There are 77 cases from City’s people and 42 cases from village. Half of the examinee can get the feedback from the testing results. The Examiner use the General data record, Rorschach Text and the Comprehensive System to assess the examinee, at the same time, comparing with American and Japan, in order to analyzing the characteristics of Rorschach between these three countries, afterwards to explore the cultural factors of these discrepancies.Results:1.The variables have significant difference in different gender : M、3r+(2)/R、EA、Hum Cont、ALOG.2. The variables have significant difference between city and vallage: F、Lambda、Afr、A、S、DQ+、M、FC、Sum C’、 Sum T、Sum V、EA、Mp、Blends、Blend/R、(H)、Hum Cont、GHR.3. Whether can get the feedback from the testing results have no significant difference.4. Have significant difference in different age of examinee;5. Have significant difference in different education of examinee;6.The variables have significant difference between China and American:Dd、DQo、FQx+、FQxo、FQxu、FQx-、MQ-、CF、WSum C、FD、F、Lambda、EA、D score、Adi D、A(active)、Ma、Afr、P反应、XA+%、WDA%、X+%、X-%、Xu%、A、Idio、ALOG、PSV;7. The variables have significant difference between China and Japan:CF、EA、Adi D、Ad、Idio、Sum T、A、S-;Conclusion: The results of the research show that the Rorschach test should consider the influence of many factors, cultural differences is an important influencing factors, the cultural differences between two samples is large difference of the Rorschach test results, whereas cultural differences is less test results are less.
