On Zhang Dongsun’s Logic Thought

As diffrent regions, races, countrys have different cultures and languages, there are different logics. For this reason, Zhang Dongsun argued that there is not just one logic, but different logics for certain need of culture. He categoried logic as traditional logic, mathematical logic, metaphysical logic, social and political logic, and give a particular explanation to their origin character and relationships between each other.Zhang Dongsun’s logical thought is of great importance. On one side, it offers a new prospect for logical study. on the other side, it supplys a tool for logical study, which is benefit for the solution of the dispute of whether chinese logic is exist.Besides, his logical thought infuluents many successors.They make deeply study on the question by Zhang Dongsun’s way.Some of them discuss the questiong in a more precise way, some give proofs for the existence of other logics by modern logic, and some make the study in a broader way.
