Anthropological Interpretation About The Creation Epic,Meige,of The Yi People

The main contect of epic is the ancient folk legends,or heroic feats long narrative.The creation epic of Yi people is about Yi people’s historical evolution and development of national spirit,and how to expression the myth of social life.The creation epic, Meige,is the one that can be called the most representative of the Yi people’s epic.Meige has been called the encyclopedia of Yi’s nationality,which is full of thick and the color of myth,including genesis,creation,marriage and love songs,funeral.Meige also reflects the wisdom and fantasy of the Yi people.The Yi people who live in Tanhua is the paper’s research object.This paper,from the perspective of anthropology,is based on the generated culture and environment that Meige can be produced,explains the historical memory and journal remains,symbolish and the living condition.The value of Meige is the author’s role between the text,Meige,and the reader,the aim is to know,through this role,how much knowledge can be convey,the background,ancient literature and culture information of Meige, can be familiar with the reader.
