The Effect On My Paintings Which Comes From Balthus’s Artistic Form

By studying experiences from the master and combining with my own creativepractice, I did an analysis about the artistic thought and the painting works ofBalthus. That is why his works attracted me so much. Analyzed and studied hisworks, I talked about my topic from there aspects: the composition of the picture,the color, and the Oriental implication in his works. I took three of his works asexamples to broaden my presentation. And I found my interests in his artisticthought and form. I focused on telling my creative practice. In my creativepractice I absorbed the advantages of Balthus. Through the process I combinedwith my artistic accomplishment, learnt from his strong points and tried to closethe gap between us. Thus I explored my own form of painting language.
