For a long time, people pay their attention to the results of writing(essay or work): such as the structure of the article, the language andthe features of work. However, over the past century,the practice ofwriting teaching of the university and composition teaching of middleschool certificates that this way of teaching did not attempt anineffective solution. Although it sounds closely reasoned and wellargued, it can’ t really solve a series of problems in writing, that is tosay, the writer’s actual level of writing has not been effectivelyimprovedAlong with the implement of reforms and opening-up policies inthe1980s,a view is gradually recognized by the society that writing isa course of action and it is the process of completing concept,emotion transfer of complex spiritual products with the help ofwritten language. This view undoubtedly subverted people’s understanding of writing. affected by this,people began to shift theirfocus to the writing’s formation mechanism and the way in whichpeople writes.If we pay analysis on this point of view, it is not difficult to findthat there are two key words: behavioral process and language. Thisview shows that: because the language is the dress of the thought, sothe generation of the article relies on the operation of thinking, this isthe first point;Secondly, because writing is a process, so the teaching of writingand composition must focus on the whole process, rather than justfocus on the "results"--the final result of writing;Thirdly, it can be concluded that: the core of the writing process isa person’s quality of thinking and language literacy. we can say thatthe process of article writing is also the process of thinkingoperation—the process of language expression.Therefore, in the process of writing, the primary is not writing butthinking. The reason why there is no way to start to write or writepoorly is that the writer is incapable to think or the thinking is not inplace. Because of this, before the writing theory research, writingteaching and writing training, we must do some thinking training andlanguage training, while the language in turn depends on improvingliteracy thinking, this should be a law. argumentative writing needs a higher level thinking.Argumentative writing itself is the abstract and nature awareness ofthe objective things, its task is to reason things out, if the writer’sthinking is not meet requirement up to grade, the truth can’t be saidclearly.However, during the argumentative writing, teachers and learnerstend to ignore the importance of thinking which led to the currentsituation that argumentative writing is unsatisfactory. The mainproblems are: it is difficult for writers to extract a correct argument,not to mention novel and profound;Many writers do not know how toanalyze during the process of expound and prove; the expression isunclear or changing direction in the course of argument, the groundsof argument is simply piled up and set out and hardly to support theargument strongly...... All these are because teachers and beginnerscan’ t use varieties of ways of thinking effectively.Then, in argumentative writing, which ways of thinking should wegrasp and how to use a particular way of thinking to improve thewriting skills of argumentation? On the basis of access to relevantinformation,combined with my own writing experience and analyticalthinking, I proposed several common ways of thinking inargumentative writing,then expound the application of these ways ofthinking in establishment of the argument, demonstration of the expansion and argument analysis to achieve the goal that thearguments in argumentative writing is accurate, innovative; theargument analysis is incisive; the reasoning process is appropriateand effective. In this article when I discourse each mode of thinking, Iam not only seeks to integrate theory with examples and explain insimple terms, but also hope to get slight breakthrough in particular,acceptability and feasibility. I hope to contribute my thin force to theimprovement of writing and the teaching of argumentative.
