XiangYuan GuShu is popular in southeast Shanxi region of a localrap music art, and is an amalgam of Guerci and willow. Thedesign and formatgradually developed into a kind of rich content;the plate type is complete and lively; the agitation issingingbeautifully. So Xian Yuan Gushu is loved by the masses of the peopleof the local folk arts.XiangYuan GuShu bibliography has small section,medium-length and long. The bibliography is rich in content."The fivewomen xing tang" is the representative of excellent GuShuwork. Besides,GuShu shaped a series of vivid characters who revealsthe profound life, the life of truth, the true praise of beautyand criticism of the ugliness which hit the nail on the head, richin content. The art of guci is unique and grace, which is filled withrich local color, and is a sign of Chinese folk music art features,especially the embodiment of XiangYuan people’s wisdom andthe good desire. So in hundreds of years, XiangYuan GuShu withstoodtest of time, reflecting the tenacious vitality ofXiangYuan GuShu.Sadly, XiangYuan GuShu is in the embarrassing situation. Theexisting conditions are worrying and lack of protection which is indanger of dying. Thankfully, to protect the non-material culturalheritage, in2009XiangYuan GuShu was rated as state-levelnon-material cultural heritage. Wang Junchuan was elected inheritorof national heritage. Wang Junchuan and other activists have activelydevoted to save the intangible team and to continue XiangYuan GuShulife. Although, XiangYuan drum calligraphic art people has a stubbornheart of love, enforcing on the protection and inheritance, but not get out of the plight of the audience for the dwindling. The audiencedirectly affect the show along with the imbalance between artistincome and the level of economic development, resulting therestriction of recruit talent and risk of subsequent.XiangYuan GuShu cultural connotation and special musicstructure has great research value, but it did not attract the attentionof the researchers. Through interviews with inheritance, GuShuperformers and xiangyuan county staff who are dedicated toprotecting intangible, the author hascarried on the survey of adistinctive vocal art.
