The Investigation Of Dance Spotrs Integrating With Chinese Elements

Due to Chinese five thousand years history of civilization and its profound culture,many elements reflecting Chinese culture and Chinese spirit have been deeplyimprinted on the hearts of people. Therefore, with the development of economy andcultural diversification, Chinese elements inevitably become a symbol of Chineseculture. Sports dance, named as exotic by the senior artists, is composed of sports,fitness, stage art, performance, and athletics. In recent years, sports dance wereattempted to show the essence of Chinese culture by the application of "Chineseelements" in order to make sports dance walk towards the world stage, which presents anew image of sports dance of China. This paper is to analyze the range and mode ofChinese elements integrating with sports dance on the basis of exploring its feasibility,and to figure out the solutions to probable problems.This paper adopts literature review, case analysis, field observation, interview andlogic analysis to study how the Chinese elements can combine with the sports dance.And the results indicate that:1. The trend of sports dance in our country has convertedfrom imitation and copy the western model, learning western skills, lack of innovationto the attempt and exploration of using "Chinese elements";2. According to differentproject requirements, sports dance music, dance movements, costumes, makeup,etiquette, props and works titles can be combined with Chinese element, and themethods might be complicated. Suggestions: to explore and analyze more Chineseelements suitable for sports dance; to organize all kinds of sports dance training andlearning program about "Chinese elements" and sports dance for sports dance workersat all levels, coaches, teachers, and sports dance amateurs; to strengthen the study ofChinese traditional culture for the major of professional sports dance in colleges anduniversities...
