The perimeter defensive line was a strategy defensive line which was built by America in the western Pacific Ocean after World War Ⅱ.It was built for stopping the expansion of Soviet in Asia and reflected the U.S. policy toward Far East. But the perimeter defensive line was influenced by the Sino-U.S. relations when it was built. And it was changed because of the changing of U.S. policy toward China after the Korea War.This paper tries to explore the perimeter defensive line and the Sino-U.S. relations in the early1950s and analyses the deep link of them and comprehend the Sino-U.S. relations this time with a new points of view.
