China is composed of Multi-ethnic groups so that his history is a colorful one that ethnic groupsinteracted, communicated and integrated with each other. During the process, cross-national marriagedeemed estimate different ethnic in interacted, communicated and integrated is an important standard.Therefor, cross-national marriage has become a major theme of investigation and research for manyscholars. This paper will take Sulagong in Xinjiang as field site, using anthropology theory and fieldmethod to investigate local marriage between Man and other nations.There are totally four chapters in this paper which discuss the main topic of this article from thepresent situation, characteristics of marriage between Man and other nations, the main factors which caninfluence the cross-national marriage, the changes of Man minority people’s and the effect ofcross-national marriage to the cultures.The first chapter is an introduction part.In this part, I mainly introduce the significance and the reasonwhy I chose this topic, the present research situation in domestic and foreign. At the same time, it alsointroduces the main research method.The second chapter mainly introduce the field work point, historical evolution and the generalsituation of Man in Sulagong, Xinjiang.The third chapter mainly describes the phenomenon and the characteristics of marriage between Manand other nations in Sulagong, analyses factors which can influence the marriage between Man and othernations.The writer separates these factors into factors of Dominant and the factors of Recessive. Thefactors of dominant are: the basic characteristics of ethnic, the development of social economic and socialmobility, the influence of the relative population scale. Factors of recessive are: the history ofrelationship between Man and other nations, value recognition of different national culture and personalfeeling.The fifth chapter describes the changes of the marriage system, the notion about the marriage, themarriage customs, and it is the foundation of next. Mainly discusses the influences of cross-nationalmarriage on the Man culture. In some families of intermarriage, national culture will surely change forcollision of cultures. Culture variation and the meaning change of culture, and integration of culture are themainly two kinds of culture change. This chapter will describe the cultural conflicts and self-adaption insome families of marriage between Man and other nations, from different languages, the custom of diet,the custom of the festival, the custom of the funeral and the notion about families. And describe theinfluences of intermarriage from the self-adaption of Man culture and the integration of cross-nationculture.The last chapter is conclusion part. Combined Man culture and other nations culture by the way of themarriage between Man and other nations, the self-adaption of culture system is surely to happen, thesecultures will continually fuse and reconstruct new culture factor to the different cultures coexist externalenvironment. The writer considers that Man culture will continue to retain and develop, and will absorbcultures of different ethnic by the way of intermarriage, it is an effective way of Man culture dissemination,and it is an important way to cultural diversification.
