The artistic thought of "popular" originated in the postmodern art. Artisticdemocratized tendency of art is to show the life of ordinary citizens, to explore therelationship between art and life, with particular emphasis on artists and audienceinteraction, emphasis on audience participation of works of art. Mr. Liu artisticthought of "popular" is closely linked to his artistic environment, its own backgroundand personal artistic concept.Mr. Liu as a representative of the "new generation" artistic characters, his workshas a typical "common" art style. Mr. Liu "popularization" artistic style, the first is theresult of "popularization", which is the artistic emotion life of ordinary people’s highattention. It determines its artistic subject matter of "popularization", depiction ofdaily life, and reflects his preference for the daily life by accident scene. But thischance has a certain inevitability, and is a kind of ordinary boring life of the presentstate of present, Mr. Liu for ordinary Chinese transitional in real life experience andpsychological state of understanding and interpretation. In this process, the art of commercial, self-discipline inretirement, alert us to think the way out of Chinese contemporary art. A kind of eliteart and popular art coexistence is the state, is a combination of both organic andself-discipline of art in a dominant position actively, commercial art in a passiveposition of being dominated.
