Since the reform and open policy, the sports dance in China has developedrapidly, and entered into the college classroom. The sports dance is a combinationof sports and dance, with exercise communicative value and entertainment function hasattracted students welcome. But,at present, the sports dance course in Colleges anduniversities has some problems, such as teaching contents, sports dancecourseteaching measures, site equipment and facilities need to be improved andperfected. According to the current situation of sports dance coursein Colleges anduniversities in Nanjing to investigate, analysis of the factors affecting the development ofsports dance course in Colleges and universities in Nanjing City, and puts forwardthe Countermeasures of reform, aiming to provide a theoretical basis for the developmentofsports dance course in Colleges and universities.This article uses the literature material law, interview law, questionnaire surveymethod, mathematical statistics and so on a series of research methods, through theinvestigation to carry out the status quo of sports dance course in Colleges and universitiesin Nanjing.The results of the study show:(1) sports dance teachers in Nanjing universities, morewomen than men, age structure is more reasonable,college educationdegree and diploma as the main body, unreasonable structure, most of the teachersare through short-term training classes and self-study approach, as the teaching of thiscourse work; speciallevel needs to be improved lower in rank; referee; mostteacherspublished research papers about sports dance, with scientificresearchconsciousness and ability of certain.(2) the teachers’ teaching ideas in the top threeare: to promote the health of students, impart knowledge,technology and skills, shapinga bodybuilding physique and improve the aesthetic ability; most teachers thinkthat teaching program to meet school requirements,88.1%of the teachers to write teachingplancarefully before class.(3) the practice teaching content mainly in themain ballroomdancing, followed by the ballroom dancing ballroom dancing in slow; three, the proportion of92.9%, four slow Rumbaaccounted for90.5%, accounted for590.5%. Just as theproportion of7.1%, in the initial stage of sports dance course in Colleges anduniversities, the highest proportion of ballroom dancing. Auxiliaryteaching contents ofaerobics and sports dance classes in ballet based;teaching method using in the top threeare: explanation and demonstration method, complete with decomposition method, repeatthe exercise method, using the conditions of modern new teaching method is notideal; teachers’ awareness of teaching quality is strong, the vast majority of teachers andstudents the effect of teaching satisfaction.(4)the students’ awareness of sportsdance focuses on sports dance cancultivate people’s temperament, body posture, socialskills and mental and physical pleasure; male students learning motivation in the topthreeare: health and fitness, develop social skills, psychological adjustmentand edifysentiment; the girls top three are: to improve the the aesthetictaste and artisticaccomplishment, develop social skills, psychological adjustment and edifysentiment.(5) the teachers’ teaching attitude wasmost recognized by the students, themajority of students to teacher’s teaching method and technology level is satisfactory, butthere is still a small part of the students expressed dissatisfaction with the twoaspects;34.8%of the students think site equipment can not meet the teaching needs; afterlearning to harvest a diversified.(6) the sports dance or community scale of colleges anduniversities in Nanjing City, but thevenue is insufficient, lack of financial security, thepopularity of sports dance rate needs to be improved.(7) in the sportsdance curriculumsupport conditions, the majority of students believe that, genderratioimbalance, teaching hours it is too little to influence the teaching factors,there is still aconsiderable students believe that teachers should improve the level. There are47.6%ofthe teachers think that the one of the leading manner are also factors.(8) putforward according to the existing problem is: the continuous optimization of the sportsdanceteachers; standardize the practical teaching materials, optimizing the teachingcontent; strengthening teaching organization reform, properly adjust the genderratio; renew teaching idea of evaluation and assessment methods; strengthen theuniversities and social groups to exchange; to encourage competition and incentivemechanism, and actively create a campus culture atmosphere; enlarging the fundsinvestment, planned, steps to improve the sports facilities, teaching conditions.
