Semantic Analysis And Rhetorical Interpretation Of Qing And Its Generative Phrases

By referring to several authoritative dictionaries in China, this thesis extracts15sematic items closely related to properties from35sematic items of Qing in Chinese Big Dictionary. Semantic meanings of Qing are analyzed firstly, and on the basis of such analysis, semantic system and semantic development of Qing are found. The semantic generation is explained from the perspective of rhetoric to expound on the importance of Qing in its generative phrases. Finally, semantic features of Qing and its generative phrases in different pragmatical environments are also analyzed and it is found that the semantic features are classified into three semantic fields:character evaluation, literature and art.
