First of all, this article introduces scheme along with its basic concepts, main traits, functions and relations with picture, by the means of document searching and arranging. With analysis of relative information, it explains the connections between lacquer and lacquer painting, as well as painting techniques and painting crafts, in a more detailed level. Then the article summarizes the general traits of recent lacquer painting scheme in terms of the general development of lacquer painting. After a further analysis in relative works, the author traces the historical progress of Chinese lacquer painting at length, which started from a supportive decorative texture to an open multielement artistic form. In addition, the article compares lacquer painting scheme with its counterparts of other artistic form such as traditional Chinese painting, oil painting and print, and end up with a conclusion of the similarity and dissimilarity among them.In the comparison between Chinese and foreign lacquer painting scheme, this article analyzes the formation and trait of foreign lacquer painting schemes (Vietnam, Japan and Europe) from different aspects, as well as their impacts on Chinese lacquer painting scheme. Combined with the comparison above, the author summarizes the necessities of lacquer painting scheme innovation.In the end, the article lists the timeline of the whole lacquer painting development, and analyzes the problems would be met in the future, then comes up with corresponding solutions, along with the expectation of future lacquer painting development. In order to find its own place among multielement art, it’s important to develop Chinese lacquer painting scheme on the foundation of our own national culture.
