| Metaphysical odes originated in Zhengshi, developed in Xijin and flourished inDongjin Dynasty. This paper researches the metaphysical odes of Wei and Jin Dynasties inthe context of metaphysics, traces the forming of metaphysical odes in the point of historyand in a dynamic vision, and generalizes the characters of different periods. And it aims toreveal the origin, evolving, text feature, etc of the metaphysical odes of Wei and JinDynasties.This paper includes four parts as follows. In Chapter1, I trace the source ofmetaphysical odes from the development of literature. And I mainly analyze that in thewriting content and method, the odes of Han and Wei Dynasties prepared for the initiationof metaphysical odes. In Chapter2, I put metaphysical odes in the atmosphere of Weijinculture, and then research the reason that metaphysical odes developed under the influenceof peripheral background and the concept. Chapter3is the core of this paper. In thischapter, I place metaphysical odes in the time axis, in which I can research itdiachronically, and separate it into three periods——Zhengshi, Xijin and Dongjin.Specifically, in Zhengshi period, it was influenced by the metaphysical thinking of“beyond the Confucian ethical code and let things in the course of natureâ€, the odesemphasized on individual spiritual transcendence and freedom, which had the character ofanti-traditional detention; then in Xijin period, the odes mostly displayed the philosophyof inaction and comfort, because of the diversification of political situation, metaphysicsand scholars’ mentality; and in Dongjin period, the odes presented an appearance ofprosperity, put the landscape into metaphysics, and combined Buddhism with metaphysics.At last, in Chapter4, I peruse the metaphysical works of Wei and Jin Dynasties from thepoint of microcosmic view, striving to discover its unique features of selecting construct,using words and display skills. And the Chapter4is just the innovation of this paper. |
