Among the three essential elements (phonetics, vocabulary, grammar) of English language, the role vocabulary plays in English learning is undoubtedly of great significance. Insufficiency in vocabulary hinders the improvement in listening, speaking,, reading and writing as well as translating. It is common that both teachers and students are extremely exhausted in teaching and learning of the English vocabulary.Although quite a few relevant researches concerning vocabulary learning have come out, yet researches and experiments designed for senior high school students are quite limited.
